meal ideas

I have a cheat sheet for meal planning.  If I can't think of anything, I pull out my list of ideas.   Here it is in case you're having problems thinking of something beyond the protein (fish, poultry, or beef), vegetable, & carb (rice, potatoes, risotto, couscous, quinoa).

Dinners:
Egg foo young
Cabbage rolls
Burgers
Paninis
Fish tacos
Tacos
Falafels
Chick pea burgers
Burritos
Rattatoui
Spaghetti & meatballs
Swedish meatballs
Chili: White or Red
Eggplant or zucchini parmesan
Sweet & sour chicken
Curried potatoes over rice (can add chicken)
Chicken wraps
Brats, beans & sauerkraut
Chicken & dumplings
Nachos
Kebabs
Sloppy joes
Stir fry
Welsh rarebit (I don't know, ask Jaimie)
Italian polenta
pumpkin mac 'n cheese
Slow cooker lemon chicken
stuffed peppers
quesadillas
stew

Lunch ideas:
Soups:  peanut banfi; beer cheddar; potato; tomato; squash; corn chowder; root veggie (you've got to try this: celeriac, carrots, turnips, parsnips - yum); carrot.

Pizza: margherita; BBQ chicken

Sandwiches: egg salad; tuna salad; BLT (with fake bacon - I won't eat pork); BBQ chicken; grilled cheese (homemade bread, with tomatoes); green apple, brie, cream cheese, & dried cranberries on sour dough (delicious).

Salads: spinach & strawberry; mandarin orange & walnut; pasta salad

Breakfast ideas:
Waffles
Crepes
French toast
Pancakes
Dutch babies/panokoken
Eggs & sausage (or bacon)
Oatmeal (try it with shredded apples)
Rice pudding
Toad in the hole (cut a hole in the center of a slice of bread and put it in the pan, break and egg and put it in the hole, toast & turn & eat)
Biscuits & gravy
Bread pudding
